Dozens of children have been admitted to hospitals in the city of Raqqa after drinking poisonous water Tuesday.
More than 20 cases have arrived in hospitals for drinking of polluted water in the area of AL-Karama in Raqqa's eastern countryside, Baladi News correspondent reported.
"The children got poisoned because the drinking water was mixed with the sewage water," residents of the area said.
Last year, dozens of children got poisoned in Raqqa due to pollution of the drinking water, where the drinking water got mixed with the sewage water in several neighbourhoods in the city.
