The opposition factions killed more than 40 members of Assad forces and injured dozens, Thursday, during the battles which took place in the strategic village of Tel Al-Melh, in Hama's countryside, which battles ended in taking full control of the village by the factions, a military source told Baladi News.
Pro-Assad web pages reported that regime forces were shooting inside Hama's town in order to open the roads for the ambulances carrying to wounded to the national hospital of Hama.
After fierce clashes, the opposition factions announced capturing several sites of the regime forces in Hama's countryside, Thursday night.
Reliable sources revealed to Baladi News that the opposition factions are carrying on the battles against regime forces on different axes, where it advanced in several sites.
The Tel Al-Melh village is considered as a strategic site due to its location which overlooks the main road which leads to Hama, and by capturing it the factions will cut off the supply for the regime forces.
On the other hand, Assad and Russia's warplanes conducted dozens of airstrikes in the northern countryside of Hama, and shelled the area with artillery and rocket launchers.
