The Response Coordination's Group has issued a statement on Monday regarding the humanitarian conditions in northwestern Syria after 17 weeks of the beginning of the brutal military campaign waged by Russia and Assad regime forces on the region.

In its statement, the group said it documented the displacement of more than 72520 families, 471412 people from the demilitarized zone.

The census is still going in around 35 areas, starting from the Euphrates Sheild area to the Syrian northwest, where the displaced people have taken shelters in, the statement added.

According to the statement, the number of civilian casualties due to the direct targeting of residential areas in different areas, since the start of the military campaign on 2 February to June 3, has increased to more than 659 people, including 189 children.

The statement condemned the hostile military actions against civilians in the Syrian northwest, calling on all the humanitarian bodies for the rapid response to help the displaced people who are sheltering in the olive groves.
