BALADI NEWS
The Assad regime forces and their loyal militias captured the village of Qasabyieh on Monday; the first village to be captured in Idlib's southern countryside. This comes following violent clashes with the opposition factions, Baladi News correspondent reported.
Baladi correspondent pointed out that the battles were taking place in conjunction with hundreds of airstrikes and artillery shellings which targeted the village, and destroyed all aspects of life there.
In the context, several members of the regime forces and their supporting militias were killed during the battles, including a captain, Baladi correspondent added.
Since the beginning of the military campaign against Idlib and Hama, Assad and Russian warplanes targeted the area with more than 200 airstrikes and more than 1500 artillery shells, destroying all kinds of properties and scorching the agricultural crops.
