Assad forces carried out an artillery attack near Turkish observation point in Idlib de-escalation zone on Sunday, killing a civilian and injuring many others, Baladi News correspondent reported.

The regime forces centered in Jourin military camp hit the town of Zeizoun, causing massive destruction in civilians' properties, Baladi correspondent added.

This was third attack of regime forces near the observation point in two weeks.

It is one of 12 observation points set up by the Turkish Armed Forces in May 2018, following the ninth round of Astana Peace Talks.

The regime forces have targeted with dozens of rockets and artillery shells the villages of Sarmaniyeh and Dweir al-Akrad, in conjunction with aerial raids by Assad helicopters on the same villages.

The opposition factions have announced destroying a military bulldozer belongs to the regime forces, while it was building sand barriers in Kafrnabudah.
