The armed opposition factions have launched a military operation, Friday morning, to recapture Kafr Nabudah in Hama's northern countryside.
The town of Kafr Nabudah has been captured by the regime forces last Wednesday, after fierce clashes with the opposition factions.
The regime forces also captured Qalaat al-Madiq and the village of Karkat in Hama's western countryside, amid intensified aerial and artillery bombardment.
Reliable sources told Baladi News that Hayyat Tahrir al-Sha, (HTS) alongside with other opposition factions, waged an attack to recapture the town of Kafr Nabudah from the regime forces.
The HTS-linked, Ibaa news agency reported that HTS destroyed a tank belonged to the regime forces during the attack, and it pointed out that the regime forces bombarded by mistake a group of their militias inside the town, killing all of them.
