19 members of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have been killed and many others injured, in 2 different ambushes conducted by the cells of the Islamic State (ISIS) in Deir Ezzor's countryside, eastern Syria.
The ambushes also resulted in the damage of four SDF military vehicles.
The ISIS linked Amaq news agency said that security cells of the Islamic State ambushed an SDF patrol in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
The security cells killed 15 members of the SDF, injured many others and damaged three military vehicles, the news agency said.
It pointed out that 4 other members of the SDF have been killed in a different ambush conducted by the ISIS fighters who targeted a vehicle with an IED, killing all of its passengers.
It's noteworthy that ISIS cells conducted several attacks against the SDF, in conjunction with their loss in Baghouz and the announcement of the complete defeat of the Islamic State by the SDF.
