Arab leaders, long divided by regional rivalries, condemned on Sunday a U.S. decision to recognize Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights and said Middle East stability depended on creating an Palestinian state.
The Arab leaders met in Tunisia for the annual Arab League Summit.
On his part U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said that any resolution to the Syrian conflict must guarantee the territorial integrity of Syria including the occupied Golan Heights.
