Hayyat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) revealed the details of the prisoners' exchange deal with the regime in al-Eis crossing, Aleppo's southern countryside, where three prisoners were released from the regime's prisons, two men and a woman, on Tuseday March 26.
Ibaa news agency, which is linked to HTS said that after long negotiations with mediators from the side of the regime forces, HTS reached a deal that three prisoners including a woman will be released in return for revealing the location of a mass grave in Idlib, which contains the remains of regime soldiers who had been killed during the Abou al-Duhur Airbase battles in September 2015, east of Idlib city.
Tahrir al-Sham and other hardline groups have refused to pull out their fighters from Idlib, despite the demilitarized zone which was announced by rebel backer Ankara and regime supporter Moscow last September, and which was designed to separate regime troops from rebel fighters in Idlib and adjacent areas.
