Turkey intends to conduct regular military patrols in the following few days. This decision comes after conducting two successful patrols in Aleopo's western suburb and Idlib's eastern suburb, Mar 8.
"Turkey will start conducting regular and continual patrols which will cover the whole demilitarized zone," a military source told Baladi News.
"It will conduct two patrols at a time, where the first will enter form Kherbat el-Goz towards Jisr al-Shughur and Qalaat al-Madiq to Hama's western suburb, to reach Maarat al-Numa's eastern suburb where it will meet the second patrol which will enter Kafr Lusin crossing towards Idlib's eastern suburb," the source added under condition of anonymity.
The source pointed out that Russian patrols will be conducted in the regime's control areas, and they will be observing the demilitarized zone.
The Russian and Turkish Guarantors agreed in Sochi deal to conduct Turkish patrols in the demilitarized zone, and it''s noteworthy that Sochi agreement was violated several times by Russia and the regime forces, which violations left hundreds of civilians' casualties.
