The death toll has raised up to 15 victims, including 8 children and 2 women, while 48 people have been injured in the Russian air strikes which targeted the residential neighbourhoods in Idlib city, the White Helmets reported.
The rescue teams are still working to retrieve the victims and extinguish the fires that erupted after the raids.
Russian warplanes also targeted the Central Prison of Idlib with six raids in a row, which led to the destruction of big part of the prison, and the death of several prisoners as well as jailers, in addition to the injury of many others, while other prisoners escaped.
It's noteworthy that this is the most violent bombardment which targeted Idlib since the implementation of the Sochi Agreement signed between Russia and Turkey, and provide for the establishment of a safe zone of 15 kilometers deep, and conducting Turkish-Russian patrols in both areas of the regime and the opposition separately.
