Nine members of the regime forces, including an officer, have been killed in the attack of opposition factions on their position in western suburb of Hama, Saturday Mar 9.
"A group of Jaysh al-Ahrar which belongs to the National Front for Liberation (NFL) has infiltrated with light weapons and attacked a regime military point south of Qalaat al-Madiq city in Hama, where it killed nine members of the regime and its supporting militias, including a major," a military source told Baladi News.
A member of Jaysh al-Ahrar has been killed during the clashes, the source added, confirming that the operation came in response to the continual violations of by the regime forces in the liberated areas, which violations left dozens of casualties among civilians, and forced hundreds of thousands of civilians to leave their houses.
Noteworthy that the regime forces are targeting the liberated cities and towns of the Syrian north with missiles and heavy artillery, and this shelling comes in conjunction with the military patrol conducted by the Turkish army, the first of which took place east of Idlib, Friday Mar 8.
