The Turkish troops intend to conduct new patrols between all the observation posts  located in the southern suburb of Idlib, Hama, al-Ghab plain and Jisr al-Shughur west of Idlib, a military source told Baladi News on condition of anonymity.

The aim of these patrols is to stop or reduce the bombardment of the regime forces to the liberated areas, the source added. Similar patrols will be conducted at the same time by the Russians in the regime's control areas which is adjacent to the opposition stronghold in the Syrian north, the source pointed out to Baladi News.

The source clarified that Turkish drones will be flown over the regime control areas in the demilitarized zone, whereas Russian drones will be sent to the areas observed by Turkey in the suburbs of Hama, Idlib, Aleppo and Latakia.

The first patrol has already been conducted today, Friday March 08, in the demilitarized zone of western suburb of Aleppo.

Turkish Defense Minister has already announced conducting the first military patrol in the demilitarized zones which both Russia and Turkey agreed on in what's known as Sochi Deal.
