The Health Minister of the Islamic State Organisation, Dr. Moafaq Muheidi al-Askar, was killed on Thursday in an airstrikes by the International Coalition on the town os Assouseh, eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
Media sources said that the Al-Askar was born in the town of Graneej in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor in 1975, he studied medicine, worked as an internal doctor, and pledged allegiance to the organisation of Daesh in 2014.
He worked in the hospitals of Nuri al-Said in al-Mayadeen, where he treated the injured of the Islamic State. Askar was on very good terms with the members of the organisation who came from Maghreb.
Three of al-Askar sons were killed during the battles of the organisation in Syria and Iraq.
Askar's influence increased in the last period when the Daesh control areas receded, where he was assigned as Health minister for the Islamic State.
Following the big losses that Daesh suffered, Askar became a military commander in the town on al-Shaafe.
