Five English soldiers were killed and three others injured on Wednesday Jan.9, after targeting them with a smart missile by the members of the Islamic State (Daesh), in the town of Shaafe, eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, the activist Zein Al-Abideen told Baladi News.
Sources from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) confirmed the new and said the dead and injured were transferred to the Shadidi hospital after the incident, the activist added.
It's noteworthy that the (SDF) backed by the International Coalition, achieved a new progress against Deash in Shaafe, after taking control over the city of Hajin and surrounding villages in Daesh's last pocket in Deir Ezzor's eastern countryside.
