Several civilians have been killed and dozens injured, on Sunday, in the bombardment of the US-led coalition on the last IS pocket, eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
Media sources reported the death of 17 civilians, while dozens others were injured in an aerial raid of the coalition, which targeted a mosque in Bukhater village, south of Hajin, in eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
In the same context, the coalition's aircrafts conducted several consecutive air strikes, since yesterday evening until today noon, targeting the areas where clashes are taking place on the outskirts of a Hajin city and the towns of Bukhater and Buhusein, eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
This escalation comes in conjunction with the land military operation waged by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) against the Islamic State Organisation (Daesh) in its last pocket in the region.
