Baladi News -Idlib
The regime and its loyal militias escalated artillery and rocket bombardment on de-escalation areas in the liberated north of Syria, firing more than 120 rocket and artillery shells, and wounding dozens of civilians in the countrysides of Idlib and Hama.
"At 9.00 p.m. the city of Khan Sheikhoun went under heavy bombardment with more than 30 artillery shells, which were fired by the regime forces and the militias loyal to them located in the eastern countryside of the city, Ziyad al-Aboud, a volunteer in the civil defence told Baladi News.
The shelling targeted the eastern and northern residential areas of Khan Sheikhoun, where 4 civilians were injured, Aboud added, and we ---civil defence teams-- checked the targeted areas and transferred the injured to the medical points for treatment.
He pointed out that the regime forces and militias loyal to them have not yet complied with the de-escalation agreement and the agreement of the demilitarized zone, where they continued to bombard and target civilians on a daily basis with dozens of artillery and missile shells.
In the context, Baladi News correspondent in Hama countryside reported that regime forces, Wednesday evening, fired more than 50 missile bombs on the outskirts of "Morek and Allataminah" cities and many other villages in the northern countryside of Hama; but no casualties among civilians reported.
It's worth noting that thousands of civilians in the southern and eastern areas of Idlib countryside fled their homes and villages and went to the random camps scattered in the liberated north, amid lack of all basic needs for living.
