Assad regime shelled Saturday (Nov. 24) Idlib southern countryside, killing and injuring civilians, Orient correspondent said.
Assad regime’s rocket launchers and artillery fire shelled al-Khansa school in Jarjnaz village, killing at least five civilians, including two students and injuring others, Orient correspondent added.
Last Saturday, Assad regime’s militias intensified shelling on Idlib countryside, killing a woman and her child and injuring civilians.
Earlier this month, Assad regime’s rocket launchers and artillery fire shelled Jarjnaz village, killing at least 10 civilians and injuring others.
A de-escalation zone deal on Idlib was reached by the Russian and the Turkish presidents last September to halt the Assad regime and its allies’ attacks on the northern Syrian city and its countryside.
Idlib is the biggest part of Syria held by opposition fighters, with a population swollen by Syrians who were displaced, following the Assad regime and its allies’ control over other parts of the country.
