Baladi News - Assweida
Pro-Assad media reported, Saturday November 17, that regime forces and their loyal militias took full control over the area of "Tlul Assafa" in eastern countryside of Assweida.
This control comes after more than 3 months of continuous battles in a very rugged area, where regime forces suffered big losses, and 500 members of them were killed including 50 officers, as well as dozens of dead from the reconciliation factions and other militias, the same sources added.
The members of Daesh organisation withdrew from the area after clashes lasted for 48 hours.
Noteworthy that 26th past August, Assad forces launched military operation against the organisation in the desert of Assweidaa, where the area of Tlul Assafa was considered as the last stronghold of the Islamic State in both Assweidaa and Damascus countryside.
