The Jordanian news paper "Al-Ra'i" said on Wednesday that two Jordanian citizens disappeared after entering Syria through Nassib crossing two weeks ago, and their whereabouts have not been known since.
The families of the two young men have informed authorities that "Ali Ibrahim Mansour al-Bashabshwh" and "Omar Abdulkarim al-Awakleh" have disappeared after entering Syria from Ramtha region since more than 2 weeks, were contacts with them have been lost since then, the newspaper clarified.
It added that the head of the Parliamentary committee for services and transport "Khaled Abu Hassan" confirmed that he's following closely with the Deputy Prime Minister, the case of the two young men, and that the deputy Prime Minister said the government will investigate their disappearance by contacting the Syrian Foreign Ministry.
Many Jordanians expressed their anger over the repeated disappearance of Jordanian citizens in Syria, as they entered through the Jaber-Naseeb crossing in southern Syria.
