"During the performance of Friday prayers, the regime forces located in southeastern countryside of Idlib targeted the town with more than 20 shells, local activist of the town, Faez al-Digeim, said to Baladi News.
The shelling resulted in a horrible massacre, where 10 civilians including a child were killed, and more than 10 injured, al-Digeim added, pointing out that the teams of Civil Defense hurried to recover the bodies and transferring the injured to the medical points.
The shelling caused massive damage in the properties, as well as a wave of displacement towards the agricultural lands.
It's noteworthy that this is the second massacre committed by the regime forces against civilians in the demilitarized zone, after signing the Sochi agreement between Russia and Turkey, and despite the presence of the Turkish the observation posts in that region.
