Turkish-American cardiac surgeon and talk show host Dr. Mehmet Oz on Friday called for helping Syrian youth in shaping their bright future.
Speaking at a health panel in Istanbul, Oz said: “I am hopeful about the future of those [Syrian] youth because they want to rise.”
“What we should do is to lend a hand and help them stand on their own feet,” he added.
Underlining the importance of coming together from different nations to resolve the refugee crisis, Oz said: “I see this togetherness as an opportunity for all the humanity to take a step for a brighter future.”
