The security office of the National Front for Liberation raided the headquarters of a cell of the Assad regime in Maarat al-Numan area, on Thursday.
An exchange of fire took place between the members of the National Front and the members who hided in a house at Jarjnaz. A member of the security office has been killed during this operation, while two members of the regime forces have been arrested, Baladi News correspondent reported.
The security force of the National Front said it broke into a den of drug dealers, which turned out to be a cells linked to the regime forces, where several Russian-made mines, as well as explosive belts were found, and confiscated."
It's noteworthy that the province of Idlib has been witnessing several assassinations and bombings since the beginning of this year, some of which were attributed to the Daesh organisation, while others were attributed to infiltrators of Assad forces.
