The military operations in the area of "Tlul al-Safa" east of Assweidaa has have been halted, following a ceasefire agreement between the regime's forces and ISIS (Daesh), which is brokered by Russia, local media sources reported.
The Russian guarantor reached the ceasefire agreement between the regime and Daesh, without providing any further details, the sources added.
The agreement states to keep the control points as they are for both sides, with having the right to respond in case of violations, Suwayda 24 news network reported, indicating that the agreement was sought for by Russia, and it's not limited with time duration.
It's noteworthy that regime forces launched an operation against "Daesh" in the beginning of past August, to eliminate the last pockets of the organisation in the desert of Assweidaa, during which operation dozens were killed of both sides.
