Pro-Assad websites and pages on social media mourned the death of five officers during the clashes that took place on Thursday between Daesh on the first side and Assad forces and their supporting militias on the other side.
During the past 48 hours, more than 45 members of the regime forces have been killed including more than ten high-ranked officers, as well as 10 members of the "Palestinian Liberation Army".
In the same context, the same pages circulated a picture of a soldier, claiming that it's for a member of the reconciliation factions, who has been detained by Daesh in the Syrian Desert.
During the past few days, the regime forces suffered the biggest loss since the beginning of their military campaign on the Desert of Assweidaa, which raised the number officers who were killed in the campaign to 40, including two brigadier-generals, four colonels, and dozens of members of the militias loyal to them.
