The Russia Defence Ministry admitted on Wednesday that 4 Russian warplanes took off from Hmeimim airbase, and targeted different sites in Idlib, claiming they were "clever missiles" targeted facilities for al-Nusra Front in the Idlib province.
The western countryside of Idlib has been targeted by several Russian air raids, which caused the death of 17 civilians at least, and the injury of dozens others, as well as the displacement of thousands of civilians.
The Russian Defence Ministry spokesman claimed that all the Russian sir strikes on Idlib targeted sites for the terrorist groups, far from the villages and towns of civilians.
The strike which has been conducted on 4th of September, targeted weapon storehouses for the terrorists, where they were storing drones in order to attack the Hmeimim airbase, the spokesman added.
It's noteworthy that the Russian air strikes caused huge wave of displacement towards the border line with Turkey.
