Islamic State retakes control over "Al-Malh" Oil well

Baladi News - Special Report

The Islamic State organization retook control over the oil well of "Al-Malh" in the desert of Deir Ezzor, on Thursday, after being captured by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) two days ago.

Deir Ezzor 24 news network reported that Daesh fighters launched an attack on SDF sites in the area of the "Al-Malh" oil well in the desert of Deir Ezzor, and took control over the oil well.

Local sources said a number of the Syrian Democratic Forces have been killed during the last attack.

It's worth noting that the SDF took control over the same oil well on Monday, after fierce clashes with Daesh.

SDF announced its full control over the desert of the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, following the violent clashes with Daesh, within the operation of "Desert Storm."

In the same context Daesh is still waging sudden attacks, targeting the regime forces and their Iranian militias, as well as the Syrian democratic forces sites.
