Daesh-affiliated social media pages posted Saturday (July 28) footage in which Syrian women from Suweida were sending a message of appeal.
One of the women, who introduced herself as Swaad Adeeb Abo Ammar,said, they were hostages at the Islamic State (ISIS).
“We call on Bashar Al-Assad and Kinana Hweijeh to release Daesh prisoners of war and to halt the offensive launched on the Yarmouk Basin. If they do not do what we ask, Daesh will kill us,” Swaad said.
More than 300 people were killed in the city of Suweida in coordinated assaults by ISIS attackers who overran villages and staged multiple suicide attacks inside the southern Syrian city.
