Mai Skaf, the Syrian actress who opposed Assad since the beginning of the Syria Revolution in 2011, has died today in Paris, the capital of France, due to a heart attack.
Mai is known for her support to the Syrian Revolution, and for her effective and peacful civil action against Bashar Al-Assad's regime in Syria and abroad.
Skaf, left Syria after being arrested several times by Assad forces, who seized all her properties in Syria following her emigration to France.
Mai Skaf was born in Damascus, 1969. She studied French literature in Damascus University, and started her career in 1991.
