US forces have established a huge prison in the province of Raqqa, northeast Syria, to detain foreign members of "Daesh" who were arrested during the military and security operations in the region.
The prison was built in an old school building in the center of the town of "Ain Issa" north of Raqqa, and was enlarged and converted into a huge prison, which includes hundreds of inmates, Anadoulu Agency reported.
All the workers in the prison, including the guards, supervisors, investigators and directors are Americans,who work in complete secrecy, and receive detainees almost everyday, the agency pointed out.
The agency added that all the prisoners are foreign members of Daesh, and most of them are leaders in the organization.
The prison is surrounded by surveillance cameras, and it extends over 30,000 square kilometers.
Prisoners' dormitories are located in the basement, while there are small rooms in the ground floor, used as solitary confinement, according to the same source.
