Daesh approaches a military base for the International Coalition

Baladi News - Deir Ezzor

The organisation of Daesh has made a progress on the expense of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), reaching an oil field which the troops of the International Coalition have taken as a military base.

Ibrahim al-Khalil, a media activist, said to Baladi News that Daesh organisation took control over the “Sabhan” oil compound, near the famous al-Omar oil field in Deir Ezzor. This control came after fierce clashes between the fighters of Daesh and the “SDF” forces, backed by the international coalition.

AL-Khalil pointed out that the oil field captured by Daesh is located near to al-Omar oil field, and it’s taken by the international coalition’s troops as a military base, where there are French, Italian and U.S soldiers.
It’s worth noting that Daesh organisation controls a small area, which is continuously subjected to the bombardment of the international coalition and Iraqi warplanes.
