Baladi News - Daraa
Reporting by Mohannad al-Horani
Thousands of civilians have fled to the Jordanian borders due to the intensified Russian raids and the fierce offensive launched by Assad regime and its militias on Daraa province.
The displaced people went to the Jordanian border with a hope of any humanitarian move, or brave attitude by the Jordanian Kingdom to allow them entering the Jordanian territories, away from Assad's violence.
Abu Saeed, an old Syrian refugee on the Jordanian border, complained to Baladi News of the catastrophic situation there saying: "We are here for many days now, we ran out of water, there are no health facilities, or sanitation. There are few toilets in the free zone, but they are very dirty and full of dust and unusable. We are unable to clean them due to the lack of water."
Abu Yaseen, the head of 6 members family, told said to Baladi News: "My family needs at least 10 loafs of bread per day, and it's almost impossible to get them. The aids we have from Jordan are by no means enough. We are suffering in order to get few loafs of bread, and few bottles of water."
