The Syrian Observer published that Hayat Tahrir al-Sham is tracking Islamic State sleeper cells in northern Idleb province after a series of assassinations targeted commanders of the former al-Qaeda branch in Syria.
Senior commander in Hayat Tahrir al-Sham said that an ISIS sleeper cell was captured in the western countryside of Idleb on Tuesday.
Hayat Tahrir al-Sham says more sleeper cells in Idleb are being led by the Russians from its coastal airbase in Hmeimym.
More Daesh cells are to be eliminated very soon, following intense efforts by domestic security services, according to the official.
