A Turkish military convoy entered the Syrian territories, on Saturday, from Kafr Lusin crossing in northern Idlib countryside to establish new military checkpoint in accordance to the de-escalation agreements.
Baladi News reporter said that the Turkish convoy has an estimated 100 military vehicle, and has entered the Syrian territories from Kafr Lusin crossing near the city of Sarmada north of Idlib, crossed the way of Saraqeb and Maarat alNu'man towards Mork city in northern countryside of Hama.
Our reporter added that the convoy consists of tracked vehicles and engineering vehicles, and pointed that the convoy was accompanied by more than 400 Turkish soldiers and one officer with their full field equipment. The reporter said that the mission of the military convoy is to establish a new military checkpoint that was reconnoitered by Turkish officers a day before, and taken as one of the checkpoints agreed upon within the last Astana conference held by the three guarantor countries of what is known as "de-escalation truce" in Idlib.
This is going to be the first Turkish checkpoint in Hama, however, the Turkish forces had established seven checkpoints earlier in the countrysides of both Idlib and Aleppo.
