A group of young men and women from the city of Kfar Zeita in the northern countryside of Hama established a youth gathering called "The Youth of Change" which came to end the state of displacement they suffered since September 2012 until today.
The youth gathering held a number of slogans encouraging the residents to return to their destroyed city, the most important of which was: "We will rebuild our city" and "We will burn the tents" to restore hope and encourage the residents to return.
"Hussein al-Bakour", a member of the gathering's management said to Baladi News that the gathering is a group of rebellious young people from the city of Kafr Zeita who are seeking through many local and media activities to make the residents willing to return to their homes and to help them to rebuild their houses.
"al-Bakour" added that the gathering is not affiliated to any military or civilian entity and has nothing to do with the local truces with the regime and that they started working after the international truce that was signed in Astana and they are seizing this period of calmness to help the residents return.
Regarding future activities, al-Bakour said that the gathering is preparing for a new campaign that will start from the camps of Atmah and al-Karamah, which is a convoy of vehicles free transportation means which will transfer a number of young people from the camps to their city in order to clean it and remove the rubble from the civilians' houses in preparation for the return of their families.
al-Bakour called through the platform of Baladi News upon the Council Of Hama's Governorate, the local council, the Civil Defense Department and the activists of the city to engage in the latest campaign and provide vehicles and fuel to help the youth accomplish their mission.
