Civilians deaths increase By ISIS Landmines and Russian Bombardment on al-Raqqa

Local media sources reported that a number of civilians were killed and many others wounded by the landmines of ISIS and the airstrikes by the Russian warplanes in the city of al-Raqqa and its countryside, while more than 20 militants of regime forces were killed in a counter attack by ISIS east of al-Raqqa. 

In details, a man and his wife were killed on Sunday by the explosion of a landmine set by ISIS in the northwestern front of the city of al-Raqqa while trying to leave towards the northern countryside of al-Raqqa and the regions controlled by "SDF". On the other hand, ISIS members executed a civilian in al-Mansour neighborhood on charges of cooperating with the coalition and providing information about ISIS. 

In the same context, 5 civilians were killed on Saturday after the Russian warplanes targeted a tractor carrying a number of displaced people in the town of Maadan east of al-Raqqa , in addition to the injury of several civilians with aerial and missile bombardment on the villages of Zour Shammar, Maghla, and al-Khamisiya in the eastern countryside.

Moreover, "SDF" militias targeted on Sunday morning the northern neighborhoods by an artillery bombardment concurrently with confrontations with ISIS and an aerial bombardment south of the city, along with an artillery bombardment on al-Qowatli and al-Wadi streets leaving behind casualties among the civilians.

On the other hand, ISIS has managed to regain control over the village of Ghanem al-Ali after launching an abrupt attack, in which more than 20 militants of regime forces and the militia of clan forces were killed. 

It's worth mentioning that regime forces suffered heavy losses in the past two days as more than 15 soldiers, including 5 officers were killed in confrontations in the vicinity of al-Rassafa and al-Wahhab field south of al-Raqqa.
