Local media sources reported that 15 civilians had been killed on Friday in airstrikes conducted by International Coalition's jet fighters against al-Shammas neighborhood of Raqqa city as part of the air cover provided for Syria's Democratic Forces (SDF).
The victims are three families, mostly women and children, the sources indicated. They also emphasized that two other civilians had been killed in similar airstrikes.
It is noteworthy that the International Coalition's warplanes and SDF's artillery have killed more than 100 civilians over the past couple of days in airstrikes against houses of surrounded civilians.
On the other hand, ISIS claimed that it killed 15 SDF militants on Friday in an offence using a car bomb near (Zat al-Sawari) school and Qadisiyya square in the western part of the city.
ISIS waged attacks on several fronts on Friday against SDF's camps in al-Karama district, and declared the death of 60 SDF militants, whereas 30 others were said to have been killed in a car bomb attack against a camp in Abu Khashab village, according to Amaq News Agency.
