Baladi News – Damascus Countryside
Assad's regime and Russian media sources claimed that the Russian forces had introduced and Distributed food reliefs to the residents in the liberated Eastern Ghouta in execution of the de-escalation agreement between the regime and the opposition, sponsored by Moscow.
However, Baladi News correspondent in Damascus and its countryside, Malek al-Hirik, denied such news. Alternatively, he said that three small trucks loaded with some reliefs, including almost expired canned beef and some medical equipment, had arrived yesterday at the crossing of Wafideen Camp controlled by the regime.
The correspondent indicated that these reliefs were so little that they cannot be distributed to the smallest neighborhood in Ghouta. He also denied photos of what the Russian forces called as the distribution of reliefs to Ghuota residents, clarifying that the photos had been taken in the regime-held Wafideen Camp.
