The directorates of education and health in the liberated areas of Idlib and Aleppo provinces issued on Monday a statement emphasizing that they are pursuing their normal operations, denying rumors posted on social media that civil institutes have stopped their operation after the infighting between Ahrar al-Sham and Tahrir al-Sham that have captured most areas.
"As an independent and specialized service concerned with the provision of health services and the improvement of people's lives, Idlib Directorate of Health emphasizes that all its operations and projects in hospitals and primary healthcare centers as well as other facilities have not stopped and are still functioning," the statement provided.
The directorate indicated that this geographical area includes millions of people who need medical services and that it is committed as a specialist technical team to the provision of these services.
On the other hand, the Free Directorate of Education in Idlib issued a statement clarifying that it is still functioning and that no party interfered with it. It added that its projects and understandings with supporters persist. The same was referred to in a statement issued by Aleppo Directorate of Education. The directorate stressed that it is an educational institute that has no military or partisan character and that no military or partisan body interferes with its functions.
