Regime forces violated on Tuesday the "de-escalation" agreement in eastern Ghouta, which was announced by Russia, through launching several airstrikes on the cities and towns of eastern Ghouta.
Baladi News correspondent in Damascus countryside, Tarek Khawwam, reported that regime's warplanes launched many air raids on the city of Duma, which resulted in wounding a number of civilians in addition to a massive destruction in the residential buildings and property.
In the same context, regime's warplanes launched several airstrikes on the towns of al-Shifoniyah and Ayn Tarma, along with the city of Zamalka with no losses reported. On the other hand, violent clashes took place between "Jaysh al-Islam" and regime forces in the towns of Ayn Tarma and al-Rihan in an attempt by the latter to advance on the region.
It's noteworthy that the Russian warplanes targeted on Monday the city of Arbin with 8 highly explosive missiles resulting in the martyrdom of 8 civilians, including 5 children and the injury of many others, including women and children, in addition to a destruction in the buildings and private and public property.
Regime forces are trying to benefit from the international agreements in order to expand the regions under their control as well as separating the rebel-held regions to facilitate controlling them later.
