Amputation is the Treatment of Fractures and Wounds in Assad-held areas

Baladi News – (Ibrahim Ramadan)
Recently, in Lattakia countryside on the Syrian coast, and particularly in al-Samia village, the child Haidar Issa paid a very high price for being admitted to one of Assad's hospital. Haidar, who entered the hospital with a broken arm was discharged with his arm amputated!

After Doctors had failed to set Haidar's broken arm, they performed two surgeries, in the second of which they decided to amputate his infected arm.

Haidar Issa's case is not unprecedented. Several witnesses from hospitals where wounded Assad's supporters are treated emphasize that amputation is resorted to as the first treatment most cases. This is attributed to two reasons; the first is to reduce the surgical and medical costs, and the second is the failure of doctors, particularly the new graduates, to cure such cases because they had not received good education at Assad's universities.
