The Lebanese president, Michel Aoun, tweeted finally on the crisis of the refugees of Arsal after the flare-up of unrest in the political and popular Lebanese arena, saying: " If we are working for the return of the displaced people, then it's only because Lebanon is no longer able of shouldering any burdens, but spreading hatred and incitement are totally rejected and their consequences are dire on both peoples".
This attitude is considered inconsistent with the attitude of "Hezbollah", which is leading the incitement against the Syrian refugees in Lebanon and practicing all kinds of pressure on them with coordination with its allies in the army aiming at forcing the refugees to return to the regime-held regions as part of an integrated plan to reproduce Assad's regime.
A dissident account of Hezbollah on Twitter, said: "The owner of the page that incited the refugees on the Lebanese army and called for demonstrations against it is for "Hani al-Hussein" who is from the Resistance Brigades.
The Lebanese Prime Minister, Saad Hariri, said on Tuesday that the army will carry out an operation in the region of Jaroud Arsal that is located in northeastern Lebanon at the Syrian border, which Hezbollah claims that it is a base for operations carried out by gunmen, some of whom belong to extremist groups.
However, Lebanese politicians and law activists expressed their concern that Hezbollah and its followers will carry out a major operation that targets the refugees under the pretext of combating terrorism, exploiting Hariri's visit to Washington next Saturday.
On the other hand, the debate is escalation in media and political circles regarding the upcoming operation, while Syrian activists continue to stage sit-ins and hunger strikes in several European cities in order to shed light on the crisis of the Syrian refugees in Arsal. However, those sit-ins haven't yet led to any European or international intervention to contain the crisis before a catastrophe that seems to be imminent happens.
