Activists in the governorate of Raqqa documented the martyrdom of 21 civilians and the injury of dozens more over the past two days by the bombardment of the international coalition and "SDF" on the neighborhood of Raqqa which has been witnessing confrontations between "SDF" militias and ISIS for 40 days.
The city of Raqqa is witnessing daily a fierce aerial bombardment by the international coalition warplanes concurrently with the continuous artillery bombardment by "SDF", which managed after violent battles from entering some eastern and western neighborhoods of the city amidst repeated attempts to expand within the city and seize control over the villages of the southern countryside.
The ongoing war under the name of "combating terrorism" has placed a heavy burden on the civilians of Raqqa as they suffered from a daily killing, homelessness and displacement, in addition to a systematic destruction that targeted the vital facilities, especially bridges, schools and hospitals.
Thousands of displaced families from Raqqa and the adjacent countryside are suffering from hardships in reaching the camps which were allowed by SDF to reside in amidst dire humanitarian conditions with no water and food in addition to the absence of an international support to thousands of displaced families in deserts facing starvation, thirst or various diseases.
