Baladi News – (Omar al-Hassan)
A number of ISIS leaders escaped over the past few days from Deir ez–Zour towards northern Syria, Euphrates Post Network reported.
Among the escapees, according to the network, are leading figures of ISIS in the eastern areas of Deiz ez-Zou, including Hamed al-Nouri, also known as Abu Hamza al-Qar'ani, the deputy prince of Hisbah (accountability) doctrine in al-Ashara city, Mahmoud al-Qassoba, Bashar al-Maddah, Ibrahim al-Bandar, and Abdul Hadi al-Halloum as well as a number of foreign fighters including two from Kazakhstan.
A local source that declined to be named said that Syria's Democratic Forces (SDF), which controls most of northern Syria, facilitates the crossing of ISIS militants towards the liberated areas through middlemen for large sums of money.
The liberated areas in northern Syria suffer security problems, especially the success of ISIS in carrying out terrorist attacks therein.
On Thursday, a car bomb was detonated in front of the educational complex in the middle of Azaz city, killing civilians and wounding 5, including critical cases.
