Assad regime, its intelligence and military forces promised those who preferred to stay in their cities of the countryside of Damascus and make reconciliations with it that they will be put in "mutual committees" with Assad forces in their cities without being sent to any battles outside their cities, but such promises turned to be false as those who made reconciliations with the regime were transferred to fight on the ignited fronts and so some of them were killed, while others were disabled.
Well-informed sources in Damascus countryside confirmed to Baladi News that about 100 people of those who made reconciliations with Assad were sent a few days ago to the fronts of Jobar, Ayn Tarma and other hot fronts in the eastern Ghouta to fight the rebels of those regions.
The sources also pointed out that the regime has adopted a certain policy to gain those young men in its military ranks as it asked its militias to give each of them the same position he used to occupy in the ranks of the rebels in order to use their weaknesses towards positions and gains and ensure their loyalty, but under the condition of being commanders on their fellow ex-rebels who also made reconciliations.
Still the regime didn't give them trust as they are prevented from going back to their cities for 6 months and when back, they are prevented from leaving except for a 48-hour leave.
The regime's strategy regarding those people depend on putting them on hot fronts to fight against the rebels and so achieving a double gain by exhausting the rebels on the one hand and getting rid of the fighters who made reconciliations on the other hand as the regime will never trust them.
