A Syrian girl was killed and at least seven others were wounded on Tuesday morning after another camp for the Syrian refugees was burned in the region of Tal Sarhoun in Lebanon.
Lebanese media sources said that the 7-year-old girl, Hajer al-Safri, died and seven others wounded after a fire broke out in "Abou Khaled camp" in the region of Tal Sarhoun near the village of Deir Zanoun al-Faour", which led to the burning of more than 22 tents.
Syrian and Arab activists accused the Lebanese militia of Hezbollah of setting the fires after the attack by the Lebanese army on the Syrian refugees camps in the region of Arsal which resulted in martyrs and casualties.
The media activist "Hadi al-Abdullah" said through his account on Twitter: "It can't be a coincidence that two camps for the Syrian refugees in al-Bika'a are burnt and another was destroyed in 3 days! All countries and organizations must interfere to save the refugees in Lebanon". While, another media activist, Majed Abdulnur, tweeted: "A huge fire in one of the refugees camps in Lebanon set by Hezbollah, who is flexing its muscles against the displaced women and children of tents".
4 Syrian refugees were killed and dozens wounded due to the outbreak of fires last Sunday in one of the Syrian refugees camps in the region of Kab al-Yass affiliated to al-Bika'a.
It's worth mentioning that the number of the Syrian refugees in Lebanon is more than 1,200,000 refugees according to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Lebanon. In al-Bika'a only, there is more than 34 % of the total number of the Syrian refugees, according to recent UNHCR figures, most of whom live in scattered camps in rural villages and towns.
