Activist in Raqqa province said that a group of Syria’s Democratic Forces (SDF) kidnapped and raped a displaced girl in Slouk village in Raqqa northern countryside near Tell Abyad city.
The girl, who left Raqqa city along with her family, was framed for dealing with ISIS.
Saud Ahmad, a resident of the area explained the details of the incident. He said, “the so-called Abdullah al-Hayawan, a chief at the so-called intelligence service of the Democratic Union’s Party, led a patrol towards the house of a displaced family from Raqqa in Slouk city. The patrol stormed the house and arrested a girl from the family at the pretext of questioning her about her relation with ISIS.”
The speaker indicated that the girl was taken to an unknown destination, where al-Hayawan and his group took turn raping her, which was emphasized by the speaker citing her family and the residents of the area.
In addition to their terrible crime, the militants severely beat the girls’ father when he objected to her arrest by kidnapping. He was also threatened with death if he dares to complain to any party.
Al-Ahmad demonstrated that this rape crime is not the first by ISIS militias. A similar incident took place in Tell Abyad against a woman displaced from Aleppo countryside. The girl was assaulted in a hideous way away from her blind brother by SDF militants who became accustomed to committing war crimes and crimes against humanity.
