Baladi News – Homs (Saleh al – Dahhiek)
Local sources in Homs northern countryside reported on Sunday that the Russian leadership ordered Assad’s regime forces and militias in the regime-allied villages south from Talbiseh to withdraw the heavy weaponry from the area.
Sources inside these villages indicated that the Russian request was rejected by most of the militias, which are directly subordinate to the Iran-supported Reda Brigade. However, some of the wise agreed to withdraw the weapons, especially which Iran is a guarantor of Astana memorandum.
The Russian air forces struck al-Kum village in 2015 during Ter Ma’lah battle according to eye witnesses. The witnesses indicated that the strikes against the Shiite village were not mistaken, but took place intentionally when the Shiite militias refused to stop the battle, although the rebels did not allow them to advance for a whole month in which the militias suffered substantial losses.
