The "Syrian Network For Human Rights" said that 5,381 Syrian civilians, including dozens of children and women, were killed in the first half of 2017.
The non-governmental network issued a report on Saturday about the outcome of the casualties among the Syrian civilians due to the acts of bombardment and clashes since the beginning of this year. The report stated that 159 children and 743 women were among the martyrs.
Assad regime and its allied sectarian militias were behind the death of 2,072 civilians, including 318 children and 245 women, while "PYD" militias killed 153 civilians, including 30 children and 25 women, not to mention that 5 civilians were killed under torture.
In the same context, the US-led international coalition which is fighting against "ISIS" killed 1,008 civilians, including 291 children and 183 women, while 641 civilians were killed by the Russian airstrikes, including 209 children and 122 women. Furthermore, the clashes led by the armed opposition against Assad regime have resulted in the death of 128 civilians, including 35 children and 15 women, according to the report.
