A number of civilians were wounded today as a result of an artillery bombardment by regime forces on the city of Duma, while the Russian and regime warplanes launched several airstrikes on the neighborhood of Jobar and the city of Zamalka east of Damascus concurrently with violent clashes that took place on the fronts of Jobar and the town of Ayn Tarma between the rebels and regime forces in continuous attempts by the latter to advance and control strategic locations in the region aiming at separating the neighborhood of Jobar from eastern Ghouta.
Baladi News correspondent in Damascus and its countryside, Malek al-Harak, reported that a number of civilians were wounded, including women and children, by the regime's artillery bombardment on the residential neighborhoods of the city of Duma in the eastern Ghouta of Damascus countryside, while rescue and ministering teams of civil transferred the wounded to the nearest medical points. The correspondent added that the bombardment left behind a massive destruction in residential buildings and public facilities.
It's worth mentioning that the countryside of eastern Damascus are witnessing a fierce bombardment on almost a daily basis by regime forces and their allied militias, despite that the regions of eastern Ghouta are included in the "de-escalation" agreement which was agreed on by regime forces under Russian and Iranian auspices.
